Khaos Control Cloud Setup Guide - System Data - Couriers

Overview​

This page is intended to compliment the training you undertake to help you set up your Khaos Control Cloud for your business.
The Help menu is also available by clicking on the yellow question mark button in the top right of your screen or selecting Help from the navigation bar within any screen in the system. It’s context-sensitive and will display relevant information depending on where you are within Khaos Control Cloud (KCC). The information includes:
  1. A description of the main page you are using.
  2. Information on the fields within the current screen.
  3. A list of related videos which will guide you through important tasks related to the screen that you are in.

System Data

System Data is found under System Setup from the left navigation bar.
System Data is a list of items that the rest of the system uses in its various screens to function. This area allows you to set-up your key central data, such as Customer Types, Tax Rates, Currency Conversions, Stock Types, etc. To enter any of the areas within the System Data grid, double click its line.
  1. From within any area of system data you can enter edit mode via the green Edit button at the top of the screen.
  2. The information within system data can be changed at any time, however once it has been used it can no longer be deleted.
  3. Save any changes using the Save Screen button in the top right of your screen.

Couriers

This is where courier services are setup for use in the system. This section also allows integrations to be set up for supported couriers. For clarification on the courier integrations currently supported please have a look at the website or support@khaoscloud.com.

Adding a new Courier

To add a new Courier:
  1. Click the Edit button.
  2. Click the + New button.
  3. Enter the code (URN) of the courier service as you wish KCC to refer to it.
  4. Enter the name of courier service as you would like to appear throughout the system.
  5. If this service supports integration select the type of integration from the drop down list.

      2. Click the OK button when all details have been entered.
      3. For all other courier integrations please contact our support team: support@khaoscloud.com.
    1. If you use more than one service from the same courier, click the Actions button and select Copy Courier Config.
      1. This option allows you to replicate the information entered without having to type it all again.
  6. For non integrated couriers, enter the service code and service description as required.
  7. If you wish KCC to reassess the courier selected when it imports orders from your channel(s) then the On Import Re-Assess should be enabled.
    1. This option will select a courier based on the setup of your couriers table, courier groups, courier banding and stock items on the order. It may not select the most cost effective courier for each individual sales order.
  8. If you wish KCC to reassess the courier selected when invoices are generated, then the On Invoice Re-Assess should be enabled.
    1. This option will select a courier based on the setup of your couriers table, courier groups, courier banding and stock items on the order. It may not select the most cost effective courier for each individual sales order.
  9. Repeat steps 2 - 8 as required for additional courier services.
  10. When finished adding courier services click the Save Screen button.

Editing a Courier

To a Courier:
  1. Click the Edit button.
  2. Edit the the couriers table as required.
  3. When finished making changes click the Save Screen button.

Deleting a Courier

To delete a Courier:
  1. Click the Edit button.
  2. Green select the courier service(s) you wish to delete.
  3. Click the Del button.
  4. When you have finished deleting couriers click the Save Screen button.
