Client Query - How do I produce Courier shipping Labels (including return labels)?

Problem

  1. How do I produce Courier shipping labels?
  2. I need to send a returns label out with my order, how do I do this?

Solution

When you select 'Assign to Courier' from [Sales invoice Manager] or select 'Process' from within [Quick Despatch] one of two things will happen depending on your system setup:

Printer provided by your courier

If you have a printer provided by your courier, then it is expected your shipping label(s) should be being print within a few seconds.

Note: If you have a printer provided by your courier but are using a freight forwarder such as Shiptheory it is possible your shipping labels will be provided as a pdf.

Don't have a printer provided by your courier

If you do not have an integrated printer provided by your courier, you will get a KCC Notification of your label(s) being ready to download. If this hasn't happened after a few minutes have a look in your Courier account page to check if they have arrived and try again if needed. If they still don't print please email support@khaoscloud.com detailing the issue.

Notes

If you are using a PrintNode integration your label(s) may print when you select 'Assign to Courier' - this is dependent on your setup.

If you require a returns label you will need to produce these from within your Courier account page - the tracking number of this type of return will not be known to KCC.
