Client Query - Channel Orders Using Incorrect Courier

Problem

Customer placing orders on channels have an option to choose delivery preference and that information is not automatically being used in Khaos Control Cloud.

Solution

This occurs as your channel order types have not been fully specified in the channel setup.
  1. Go to the channel that is not correctly choosing couriers.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. In the Channel Order Types grid select a courier service your channel uses, such as Parcelforce24.
    1. In some channels this grid does not populate until an order is placed with that delivery preference.
  4. In the Default values for Order Type box click +New.
  5. Select Order Header Courier and click OK.
  6. In the Value field click on the magnifying glass icon and select the courier you wish to use for these orders.
  7. Repeat steps 3, 4, 5 & 6 for each of the channel order types.
  8. Click Save Channel when you are done.
  9. Repeat all of these steps for each channel that is incorrectly selecting couriers.
  10. We strongly recommend you place test orders for every courier option on your channel to ensure the results are as expected.
If you are using a non integrated courier then you should go to [System Setup | Couriers] and create a new courier called Manual Selection (Or any words to that effect) and then carry out the above process using this manual selection courier when you reach step 5.
