Client Query - Is it possible to add a Lead entry into CRM without a company record?
Question/Problem
We often receive phone calls from customers we do not know and do not need their contact details at this point, is it possible to add a Lead entry into CRM without a company record?
Resolution/Solution
This is not really possible within KCC, the system needs an address for companies (suppliers and customers) and CRM logs needs to be registered against a company.
You could set up a Generic Customer Company record and log this information against this record, but we advise caution using a Generic company record.
