Client Query - Where should the PAYE nominal live?

Question/Problem 

Where should the PAYE nominal live? There are numbers already assigned in the sequence, so it can't sit with the other Taxes as I'd like.

Cause

 The system uses Nominal Sequence Numbers and Grouping New Nominals when adding a new nominal. The system will auto assign the next number in the sequence, but you can overwrite this with whatever alpha or numeric value you wish.

Resolution/Solution 

The nominals already in the system are fixed (un-editable), this to protect them from being amended in such a way that could prevent the system functioning as intended.

However, you can give a new an existing number in the sequence with an 'A' for example added at the end. When saving your new nominal, the system will place your new nominal in the correct location, which may prove beneficial if you are grouping your nominal codes.
