Client Query - Unable to access my Khaos Control Cloud System

Question/Problem;

I can't access my Khaos Control Cloud

Cause;

The most common reason for a client being unable to access a system is that the payment card linked to the System has expired.


Answer/Solution;

The accounts system for KCC is fully automated and works as follows:

  1. When the renewal invoice is raised, the system will attempt to charge the card on file.
  2. If the payment is not successful, an email is sent to the admin email address informing the person that the payment has failed. The system will not attempt further payments automatically without intervention. Note that the account is not deactivated at this point.
  3. If the invoice remains unpaid after 7 days, the account will be automatically suspended and another email sent to the admin email address.
  4. Accounts are reactivated immediately once a new card is added and the overdue invoice is paid from the admin portal.


Notes/Caveats;

  1. The admin portal will indicate “Your payment card expires soon. Please update your payment method now to ensure continuity of service.” if the card expires within 30 days.
  1. KCC itself has no visibility of the billing status of the account beyond it being active or not; this is all handled by the admin portal.
