Royal Mail Click and Drop

Overview  

This video explains how you setup and use Royal Mail Click and Drop with KCC. You will find step by step instructions below the video.
Please note that the video does not mention adding the Endpoint URL when configuring the courier. This must be added otherwise the integration will not work, see step 15 in the setup section below.


Pre-Setup

  1. Before you begin the setup, make sure that you are logged into your KCC account.
  2. Open System Setup – System Data.
  3. Open the Couriers screen and make sure that the Export Type for your Royal Mail service is RM Click & Drop Magento v2.
  4. Open a new browser (internet) tab and start the setup.

Setup

  1. Log into your Royal Mail Click & Drop account.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Integrations .
  4. Click Add New Integration button.
  5. In the popup dialog box click Magento.
  6. Select v2.x from the dropdown menu.
  7. Click the Copy to Clipboard button at the end of of the Callback URL value.
  8. Open a new web browser tab and go to:
    1. clickdrop.khaoscloud.com
  9. Paste the value from step 7 into the Click & Drop Callback URL box.
  10. Enter your email address and company name in the appropriate fields.
  11. Click Next .
  12. In the Configure your Courier screen: 
    1. Click on the Copy button for the Consumer Key:
      1. Open your KCC screen.
      2. Select the Click and Drop courier.
      3. Click on the Actions button.
      4. Select Courier Config.
      5. Paste the Consumer Key into the Consumer Key panel.
  13. Return to the Configure your Courier screen:
    1. Click on the Copy button for the Consumer Secret.
      1. Open your KCC screen.
      2. Paste the Consumer Secret into the Consumer Secret panel.
  14. Click OK.
  15. Return to the Configure your Courier screen, this MUST include adding the endpoint URL:
    1. The Endpoint is as per the description, e.g. https...
  16. Click Next .
  17. Click Check your settings and activate your new channel on the channel settings page .
  18. Click & Drop will now display your settings screen so you can set preferences as required.
    1. Enable Mark orders as despatched on channel.
    2. Enable Upload delivery confirmation to channel.
  19. Click Update and Activate .

Usage

  1. In [Sales Invoice Manager] Shipping stage, green select the order(s) you have confirmed shipment as Click & Drop.
  2. Click Actions and then Assign to Courier .
    1. There will be a delay of up to 15 minutes for the orders to appear in your Click & Drop Account.
  3. In your Click & Drop orders screen select the order you wish to process.
  4. From within the sales order click Apply Postage .
    1. Tracking numbers for sales orders will take up to 30 minutes to be received by KCC.
