Client Query - Purchase Nominal or Expense Nominal
Question/Problem
Why the need for both a purchase nominal and an expense nominal?
Resolution/Solution
A purchase nominal is for non stock items that you wish to use purchase orders for and possibly stock control - it must be COS excluded. An expense nominal is for non stock items that you do not wish to raise purchase orders for (such as fuel receipts) - for these you should use the SP Ledger.
Notes/Caveats
They will both appear on your P&L.
