GFS integration into Khaos Control Cloud


Configuration

To add the new GFS Courier:
  1. Click the Edit button.
  2. Click the + New button.
  3. Enter the code (URN) of the courier service as you wish KCC to refer to it.
  4. Enter the name of courier service as you would like to appear throughout the system.
  5. If this service supports integration select the type GFS integration from the drop down list.
    1. Click the OK button when all details have been entered.
    1. If you use more than one service from the same courier, click the Actions button and select Copy Courier Config.
      1. This option allows you to replicate the information entered without having to type it all again.
  6. For non integrated couriers, enter the service code and service description as required.
  7. If you wish KCC to reassess the courier selected when it imports orders from your channel(s) then the On Import Re-Assess should be enabled.
    1. This option will select a courier based on the setup of your couriers table, courier groups, courier banding and stock items on the order. It may not select the most cost effective courier for each individual sales order.
  8. If you wish KCC to reassess the courier selected when invoices are generated, then the On Invoice Re-Assess should be enabled.
    1. This option will select a courier based on the setup of your couriers table, courier groups, courier banding and stock items on the order. It may not select the most cost effective courier for each individual sales order.
  9. Repeat steps 2 - 8 as required for additional courier services.
  10. When finished adding courier services click the Save Screen button.

Processing Invoices with GFS Courier in SIM
  1. Once GFS Courier has been assigned to an invoice, navigate to SIM > Shipping.

  2. Select Assign to Courier. This will automatically download a file (to be imported into GFS).

  3. When GFS returns a corresponding file (exported from the GFS system), go to SIM > Shipping > Actions > Import Courier References.

  4. Upload the returned file from GFS and select GFS from the courier dropdown list.

  5. Click Next to complete the import.

  6. To verify the results, navigate to System Setup > Data Import Results
