Assign a Sales Order to a Courier

Overview  

This video explains how you send the courier information for your sales orders to your courier when you have courier integration setup in the system. The previous step is covered in the video How To Confirm the Shipment of a Sales Order. There are instructions below the grid.



Steps 

  1. Go to the Shipping stage of [Despatch | Sales invoice Manager].
  2. Select the orders you wish to assign to couriers.
    1. These should be purple in colour signifying that the shipping details have already been confirmed.
  3. Click Actions.
  4. Click Assign to Courier.
    1. There will be a popup 'Please Wait' window whilst KCC sends the order details to your couriers.
      1. During this time KCC performs a number of tasks depending on your courier integration, but will typically include:
      2. Labels will become available to download and print.
      3. Orders being marked with tracking details.
      4. Shipping status will be uploaded to your channels.
      5. Orders will appear in your courier service app.

Notes/Caveats 

Orders that have been assigned to courier will be automatically moved into the Issue stage.
